Now, SEO would be our first choice to start with because it’s free. So we’d build up an initial amount by leveraging SEO & then we’d scale our business to make the million(s) by using paid advertising.

SEO (otherwise known as search engine optimization) is the process of getting webpages ranked in the search results on search engines like Google, Yahoo & Bing.
Basically, it involves finding what things people are searching for & then creating web pages that are really relevant to those queries.
The search engines automatically discover the webpages & if they deem them relevant (and helpful) enough then hey presto! They get listed in the results as an option for people to click on.
So let’s say you found out people were searching for the phrase “best toothbrush for dogs” and you created a page that was really relevant (like a list of dog toothbrushes).
The search engines would discover that page, list it within their results & then the people who are searching would start clicking on it.
As soon as they click on it & arrive at your page, this then gives you the opportunity to make money because you can promote things to them (in this instance dog toothbrushes) in return for commissions.
And the best part about this method is that once the web pages are created, they’re there to stay…
Meaning that you could earn passive affiliate commissions for many years to come or you could continue creating more web pages to grow your income even larger.
Then finally, once your income is large enough, you could dive into paid advertising to scale your revenue & become a millionaire from affiliate marketing.
Paid advertising works in a similar way only that rather than having to create webpages & “hope” that they rank in the search results you can simply “pay your way” to the top spot.
