What Exactly Are Affiliate Marketing Hacks?
The phrase affiliate marketing hacks, in short, refers to the tricks that you can use to speed up the process of earning money through affiliate marketing.
Think of them as being shortcuts to your success.
And when it comes to so-called secret affiliate marketing hacks, we’ve seen tons of different claims made by self-proclaimed gurus, such as:
- Make money on autopilot using AI
- Get a profit-ready done-for-you business
- Leverage auto-blogging software
- Use social media auto-posters
- Just create a two page sales funnel
- Invest money in solo ads 🤮
But guess what?
Out of all the claims we’ve seen, we’ve never seen any of them actually follow through on their promises.
Instead, we’ve just had countless members telling us about their bad past experiences with scam programs that made such claims.
And that’s because when it comes to affiliate marketing, there are no cheats or done-for-you systems.
Those so-called gurus only promise that there are in an effort to trick you into buying their bogus programs or systems so that they can make money at your expense.
So, if anybody ever promises to provide you with access to some sort of secret affiliate marketing hacks in return for your money, do yourself a favour & run a mile.
Affiliate marketing is fantastic means of earning money online & it can provide you with a very handsome income, but profiting with it takes work.
Sure, things like artificial intelligence can make your life easier, and your income from affiliate marketing can become passive over time.
But there will never be a system or model that will simply enable you to push a button & profit like those so-called gurus want you to believe.
Why Affiliate Marketing Tricks Don’t Work
As much as anybody else, I would love for affiliate marketing tricks to work. I’d love to just be able to push a button & start profiting the same day.
But that’s just not realistic & the reason is that even if you have the best website in the world or the highest-paying affiliate program, you won’t earn anything without traffic.
In other words, you need people clicking on your affiliate links & purchasing the things that you’re promoting in order to make money.
And there are 2 ways of generating traffic. You either create content or pay for advertising.
Now, there’s no doubt about it. Content creation is a fantastic way to generate traffic & it’s the primary means of traffic generation that we teach here at Commission Academy.
But to generate traffic through content creation, you need to be creating quality content & importantly, you need to be getting people to link to it & share it.
That is a process that simply can’t be entirely automated. It involves work.
And then there’s paid advertising. Sure, anybody can put money into an advertiser account & send traffic to a page, but because of this, the paid ads market is ultra-competitive.
This means that generating a positive ROI from an advertising campaign can be extremely difficult even for advanced marketers, let alone beginners.
And more importantly, it typically requires consistent, daily tweaking.

- Does it sound too good to be true?
- How will I get traffic?
- Is the method fully explained before handing over money?
If a program sounds too good to be true or makes bold claims & asks you to hand over some of your own cash to find out more, run a mile.
Similarly, if a program makes it unclear how you will get traffic or mentions that you’ll be able to simply buy traffic through solo ads, you should also run a mile.
