OnlyFans is a word that you can’t avoid these days. It pops up almost everywhere you go online & it seems just about everybody now has an OnlyFans account.
But can guys make money on OnlyFans? Or is it something that’s purely reserved for women?
Are guys even allowed to make OnlyFans accounts?
If those are some of the things you’ve been wondering about, you can rest assured you’ve landed in the right place to find out the answers.
In this blog post, I’ll be uncovering if guys can make money on OnlyFans, along with how much the top male models make. So let’s dive straight in & get to it.
Can Guys Make OnlyFans?
We’ll start with the most important question first. Can guys actually make OnlyFans accounts to sell content? Is it allowed by the platform?
This seems to be a question on the mind of many guys & the good news (for them) is that, yes, guys can make OnlyFans accounts to sell content.
OnlyFans has no rules preventing specific genders from selling via the platform. It’s open to everybody, male, female or otherwise.
So, now that that’s out of the way let’s move swiftly onto the next most important question.
Can Guys Make Money On OnlyFans?
Yes, guys can certainly make money on OnlyFans & there are many guys that do exactly that. However, guys will have a harder time doing so than females.
The reason for that is that the market size of buyers seeking to purchase male-created content from the platform (according to search volume data) is much lower than it is for females.
But it’s still not impossible for guys to make money. There is still a market out there, albeit a smaller one.
And it’s even possible for guys to make money on OnlyFans without showing their face.
In fact, as I wrote about in another recent post, there are guys making money selling feet pics.
And that brings me to the next point.
What Do Guys Do To Make Money On OnlyFans?
Whilst the concept of selling feet pics I mentioned above is quite obscure, it doesn’t have to be in order to make money as a guy on OnlyFans.
Ultimately, OnlyFans is a platform that enables you to sell any type of content you want.
So, whether you want that to be pictures of your feet or DIY tutorials, that’s entirely up to you.
As a result, there’s a whole host of different things guys do to make money on OnlyFans, such as:
- Selling feet pics
- Selling educational fitness content
- Selling nudes
Sadly, though, OnlyFans is overwhelmed with adult content. Therefore, if you are looking to sell educational content to your fanbase, you’ll likely be better off doing so somewhere else, like Patreon, for example.
But remember, alongside creating content for OnlyFans, there’s also another thing guys need to do to make money on OnlyFans & that is promote their content.
After all, unless they’re able to successfully advertise their content & attract subscribers, they won’t earn anything at all, regardless of how great their content may be.
And this is the part where most people struggle (both male & female).
Promoting an OnlyFans account is, without doubt, the most difficult part of the process.
So, even though you may hear of people earning good money through OnlyFans, do be aware that it does not come without lots of hard work.
And that’s why in my original post about average OnlyFans earnings, I concluded that affiliate marketing was the better option for people in the long run.
How Much Do Guys Make On OnlyFans?
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question because it depends on the individual, the type of content they’re creating & the size of their audience.
There are some guys that make nothing on OnlyFans, there are some guys that make a few hundred dollars a month & then there are others who make tens of thousands.
It mostly boils down to how well you’re able to promote your content & the audience size for the type of content that you’re publishing.
On average, though, male creators are said to earn between $1,500 to $7,500 monthly.
To give you an idea of what’s possible, let’s take a look at the top male OnlyFans earnings.
How Much The Top Male OnlyFans Make
Below is a list of the top male OnlyFans accounts, along with their reported monthly earnings:
- Tyga: $7.69 million a month
- Safaree Samuels: $1.91 million a month
- Casanova: $1.05 million a month
- Aaron Carter: $500k a month
- Nikocado Avocado: $500k a month
A trend that you can likely notice is that all of the top earners are either celebrities or social media superstars with incredibly large followings.
As an average guy on OnlyFans, don’t expect to earn anywhere near as much as those guys; otherwise, you might find yourself quite disappointed.
A Better Alternative
There’s no doubt about it. Trying to make money as a guy on OnlyFans will be an uphill battle.
Not only is the competition fierce, but the audience size of buyers is much smaller than it is for women, making it more difficult for men to make money.
So, instead of putting time & effort into something so challenging that may ultimately never yield a return, you’d be much better off pursuing something like affiliate marketing instead.
The statistics are flip reversed when it comes to affiliate marketing, as nearly all of the super affiliates and top Amazon affiliate earners are males.
This means that, statistically, as a male, you have a better chance of making money with affiliate marketing, especially when you follow a proven roadmap.
