One thing a lot of people worry about when they look to get started with affiliate marketing<\/a> is whether or not they’ll have the time to become successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, what’s the point in getting started with it, if you won’t be able to put aside enough time to actually start making money<\/a> with it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, as a result, we often get asked the question, how many hours do affiliate marketers work per week?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And whilst on the surface, it may sound quite simple, there are actually quite a lot of variables that could affect the answer. For that reason, we’ve put together this blog post to answer it in-depth, once & for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Many Hours Does An Affiliate Marketer Work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The reality is there is no set amount of hours that an affiliate marketer works & ultimately, the amount of hours they work depends on what they want to achieve & their marketing methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also depends on how far along in their journey they are because, after a certain period of time, affiliate marketing can become almost entirely passive<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that the affiliate marketer could still earn money with very little work or even no work at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the more hours you can put in, the more you will get out – it’s as simple as that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As little as 1 hour per day (or 7 hours per week) is more than enough to get started. You could quite easily build a thriving affiliate marketing business by working 7 hours per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if you upped that to 2 hours per day or 14 hours per week, then you can expect things to begin happening much more quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you could do affiliate marketing full-time<\/a> & invest 40+ hours per week, then you can certainly expect to get off to a flying start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the right training<\/a> to hand, you could even start generating commissions in your very first month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned though, it also depends on marketing methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re only using free methods to market your affiliate links<\/a> then it’s going to require more work than if you were to leverage paid methods as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s the nature of how business works – you can use money as leverage so that you don’t have to invest as much time. After all, time = money, but it also works the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the best part is that because you can build an affiliate marketing business based around any passion or interest<\/a>, it can be fun, and it doesn’t have to feel like work at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, many people simply pursue affiliate marketing purely as a hobby to fill up their spare time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the reality for most people is that if they really dig deep into their schedule, they will easily be able to find 1-2 hours they can put aside each day to work on their business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, most people simply spend hours watching TV in the evening. And the average adult spends over 6 hours<\/a> just playing on their mobile phones each day. \ud83d\ude32<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whilst you might initially think you don’t have the time, trust me, you’ll be able to find it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as mentioned, you don’t want to go overboard & work too hard. That can end up being just as bad as working too little because you can find yourself suffering from burnout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key is to find a happy medium – a balance where you can work on your business but also spend time with your family and friends & doing the things that you enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the easiest way to do that is to build an affiliate marketing business around your passion<\/a>. That way, you can kill 2 birds with one stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can You Do Affiliate Marketing Part-Time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes, absolutely. Whilst affiliate marketing can be a full-time job<\/a>, you can also do it part-time if you’d like to fit it in around your current schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will you earn less by doing it part-time? No, not necessarily, it’ll just generally take you longer to start seeing your first commissions come through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that’s one of the beauties about affiliate marketing. When done correctly (like we teach in our training<\/a>), your efforts end up being compounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
