{"id":212,"date":"2022-07-04T01:33:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T00:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/?p=212"},"modified":"2022-07-04T13:15:14","modified_gmt":"2022-07-04T12:15:14","slug":"done-for-you-affiliate-marketing-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/done-for-you-affiliate-marketing-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Why Done-For-You Affiliate Marketing Systems Keep You Broke"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I want to talk about why done-for-you isn\u2019t good for you and why all these done-for-you (DFY) affiliate marketing systems and sales funnels are a total hoax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/why-most-affiliate-marketers-fail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"65\">biggest reason affiliate marketers fail<\/a> to make a single dime online is that they\u2019ve been sold on the idea that an online business can be <em>&#8220;done for you&#8221;<\/em>, which only leads to frustration and a depressing lack of results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s a major, major stumbling block for many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe whilst you\u2019ve been trying to figure out <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/what-is-affiliate-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how this whole affiliate marketing thing works<\/a>, you\u2019ve come across these <em>\u201cautopilot systems\u201d<\/em> and <em>&#8220;business in a box\u201d<\/em> type products where supposedly all you do is click your mouse, sit back and watch as the profits roll in.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They promise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Done-for-you traffic<\/li><li>Done-for-you sales pages<\/li><li>Done-for-you emails<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And so on&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These shiny shortcuts, these <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/is-affiliate-marketing-a-scam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get-rich-quick scams<\/a> (which is really what they are) will hold you back from ever <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/can-affiliate-marketing-make-you-rich\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">becoming rich online<\/a> and I\u2019m gonna show you why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/themakemoneyonlineblog.com\/best-make-money-online-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"66\">I\u2019ve gone through 100s of done-for-you systems&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I mean I&#8217;ve spent hours and hours really going through them in detail, looking at how they work (or how they\u2019re supposed to work)&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I think I\u2019ve finally got to the bottom of why they keep you broke.&nbsp;I&#8217;m serious. These phoney get rich quick scams doom you to failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Every.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Single.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So let\u2019s break it down. You\u2019ll get done-for-you capture pages, done-for-you sales pages, a done-for-you list of email subscribers and even done-for-you email templates\u2026 <\/em><br><br><em>All you have to do is spend a few minutes setting it up, send traffic through the system and you\u2019re GUARANTEED to make money.<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You don\u2019t have to do a thing. I\u2019ll even give you our 50 top-performing emails that have been tried and tested and PROVEN to convert.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buy their program, copy and paste everything over and you&#8217;ll have a plug and play way to earn autopilot profits and be laughing your way to the bank. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If only this were true! \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These online guru types suck you in with a ton of hype and outlandish promises of how much money you&#8217;re going to make.&nbsp;It&#8217;s only after you buy it that you realise the only income strategy is to promote the program you just bought to others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So you go ahead and start spending your hard-earned cash on solo ads or whatever it is to <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/how-to-get-free-traffic-for-affiliate-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">send traffic<\/a> through the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You go all in and start an email campaign with every done-for-you email sending people back to the sales page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, on the surface, everything seems to make a lot of sense &#8211; this stuff has been proven to generate commissions and you don\u2019t have to do anything except drive traffic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These online gurus usually give you their traffic sources as well, so all you have to do is spend $300, $500 or $1,000 on traffic and you\u2019ll be making a profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does this sound familiar? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019ve come across these so-called <em>\u201cmake money online systems\u201d<\/em>, then you know exactly what I\u2019m talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you haven\u2019t come across these before then good, because I\u2019m going to show you why you\u2019re way better off avoiding junk like this altogether! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-done-for-you-sales-funnels-really-work\">How Done-For-You Sales Funnels <em>Really<\/em> Work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While you could make a sale or two following this method (Because whoever created this system has split-tested the pages), it is highly unlikely and only possible if you spend a ton of cash trying to drive traffic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because here is the big problem these make money online scammers <em><strong>SHOULD<\/strong><\/em> tell you about but <em><strong>DON&#8217;T<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They\u2019ve got 1,000s, 10,000s, sometimes 100,000s of affiliates all using the same done-for-you sales pages and funnels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And there&#8217;s a lot of noise online. It looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/why-done-for-you-affiliate-marketing-doesnt-work.png\" alt=\"why done for you affiliate marketing doesnt work\" class=\"wp-image-263\" width=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/why-done-for-you-affiliate-marketing-doesnt-work.png 651w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/why-done-for-you-affiliate-marketing-doesnt-work-300x90.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px\" \/><figcaption>How can you ever expect to stand out?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And everyone looks exactly the same because they&#8217;re all using the same done-for-you capture pages, sales pages and emails, DFY emails. The people you\u2019re sending through your sales funnel have likely already seen these pages many times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They\u2019d be nothing wrong with using done-for-you funnels if only a few people were using them, but some of these systems have 100,000s affiliates all using exactly the same done-for-you pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And to make things worse: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They&#8217;re all using the exact same traffic sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you think is going to happen? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People can actually do quite well when these systems first get launched, which is why you see these product launchers creating new systems every couple of weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But as soon everyone starts promoting it using the exact same pages, the conversion rate <em><strong>DROPS<\/strong><\/em> dramatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The capture page gets promoted to death, everyone\u2019s seen it and stop opting in<\/li><li>The sales page has been seen half a dozen times so the conversion rate plummets<\/li><li>Everyone\u2019s using the same email titles and sales script so they stop even reading them<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because there\u2019s nothing unique about any of this. There\u2019s no originality. At no point on any of these steps are you adding any value whatsoever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use done-for-you sales funnels and marketing systems and you look the same as everybody else. You\u2019ll <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/why-am-i-getting-traffic-but-no-sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">struggle to get conversions<\/a>, which is why you&#8217;ll always see people jump from one done-for-you system after another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, let&#8217;s say you sign up to one of these systems, pay $200 for solo ads and send your 200 leads to your done-for-you capture page and sales page&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work-1024x446.png\" alt=\"Why Done-For-You Affiliate Funnels Dont Work\" class=\"wp-image-274\" width=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work-1024x446.png 1024w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work-300x131.png 300w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work-768x335.png 768w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work-1536x670.png 1536w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Why-Done-For-You-Affiliate-Funnels-Dont-Work.png 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typically, a good capture page will get 50% of people&#8217;s email addresses. Out of the 100 people who then see your sales page, you&#8217;ll be lucky if you get one conversion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you pay $1 per lead and make a $50 commission per sale then not only are you not going to make money&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You&#8217;ve actually just lost $150.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So at first sight, this might seem like a great way to get started because you don\u2019t have to do anything and everything\u2019s done for you, the conversion rate is so bad that it doesn\u2019t matter what you do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can drive as much traffic as possible, spend as much money on ads as you can\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But you\u2019ll never come out on top.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll always spend more than you make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>And this is exactly why done-for-you is bad for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another reason you want to avoid done-for-you affiliate marketing systems is that they&#8217;re like riding a bike with training wheels and you can never take those training wheels off.<br><br>This means you never learn the skills you need to become an independent and successful entrepreneur:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You never learn <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/how-to-write-a-product-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how to write product reviews that convert<\/a><\/li><li>You never learn how to create a simple sales page or learn how to change it to make it your own<\/li><li>You don\u2019t know how to create your own videos to <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/how-to-sell-other-peoples-products-online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">promote products<\/a><\/li><li>You never learn how to create your own emails <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, you don\u2019t even know anything about online marketing and so you\u2019re stuck forever in the boom and bust cycle of done-for-you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But because you don\u2019t know how to do this and that, you can\u2019t inject yourself anywhere in this process. And this is a very big problem because that\u2019s what makes all the difference to your conversions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And learning how to do this stuff yourself <em>isn\u2019t<\/em> difficult. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You just need to be shown <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/get-started\" data-lasso-id=\"68\">how to do it right.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"there-s-a-better-more-profitable-way\">There&#8217;s A Better, More Profitable Way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you learn how to create your own capture pages, sales pages and videos and are able to inject yourself, your face, your story and your personality into the process you, all of a sudden, become unique and stand out above the noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope you can see that! If you can get this it\u2019s going to make the difference between failing or raising the roof on <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/how-much-money-can-you-earn-as-an-affiliate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how much you can earn<\/a> and smashing your online income goals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019ve tried <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/what-is-affiliate-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"69\">affiliate marketing<\/a> but haven\u2019t yet managed to make your first sale or you can\u2019t quite figure out how to make a growing and consistent income from it, understand that <em>it\u2019s not your fault.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s so much false information and downright bad advice out there, so many people teaching the wrong stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you\u2019ve spent money on courses that teach this, you know what I\u2019m talking about<\/li><li>If you\u2019ve spent a ton of money on solo ads, Facebook ads etc., you know what I\u2019m talking about<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So now let me show you what <em><strong>DOES<\/strong><\/em> work instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the model that enabled me to make $100,000s, become a super affiliate, kiss my call centre job goodbye and book a one-way ticket to Thailand.<br><br>And this is what I want for you, whatever your income goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, it starts off with traffic, the lifeblood of any online business:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works-1024x374.jpg\" alt=\"how affiliate marketing works\" class=\"wp-image-279\" width=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works-1024x374.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works-300x110.jpg 300w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works-768x280.jpg 768w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works-1536x561.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/commission.academy\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/how-affiliate-marketing-works.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But instead of sending them to a done-for-you sales page directly, you start by giving people high-value upfront. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This could be a blog post or a YouTube video where you\u2019re helping the person who subscribed to your email list learn more about your topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, for example, say you\u2019re promoting a Thai language course. Don&#8217;t send them directly the language course&#8217;s sales page, but warm them up first by giving them useful tips on how to become fluent in the Thai language.
